 Wellesley College
Welcome
Letter from the Wellesley Quest Liaison
A very warm hello from the Wellesley Quest Liaison!
Wellesley's Latin motto, Non ministrari sed ministrare, means "Not to be ministered unto but to minister." I feel it captures perfectly our college's mission, which is to provide an amazing liberal arts education for women who will change the world for the better.
Wellesley is located in the beautiful New England town of Wellesley, Massachusetts, just outside of Boston in a breathtaking natural environment (complete with two botanical gardens!). It was founded in 1870 by Henry and Pauline Durant. We have Quest Scholars hailing from all over the nation studying diverse topics.
Wellesley women believe in leadership, diversity, and service. Along those lines, our chapter's focus this year is outreach and building our community. Knowing how to serve is a key element of effective leadership. We hope to strengthen our relationships, and our goal is to work closely with other programs like Cradles to Crayons, which has been providing warm clothes, shoes and school supplies to children in the Boston area.
