Letter from the Wellesley Quest Liaison

Greetings to all Quest Scholars! My name is Lisa Liu, and I sincerely hope that you’ll enjoy your time at Wellesley. Wellesley College has a wonderfully forested campus partially developed by renowned Central Park architect Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr. and is located about a two hours drive from Boston, where students can register for courses at MIT and Harvard.

Our official motto is “Non ministrari sed ministrare” (“Not to be ministered unto, but to minister”) and our unofficial motto is “Women who will.” As the one of the best liberal arts colleges in the nation, we continually strive to be part of the driving forces in the world that change it for the better.

I would like to warmly welcome everyone into our sisterhood. It is my fondest wish that we will form a strong community, and that we will keep the friends of our youth as young in our hearts as when we first met them across the decades.
