Letter from the Notre Dame Quest Liaison

Greetings, Domers!

My name is Hannah Lin and I am your Quest Liaison for the 2012-2013 school year. I grew up in southern Connecticut and I am currently at Notre Dame studying accounting and international business. From my experiences, the heart of the fall semester will more or less revolve around football. If you are not familiar with the traditions of Notre Dame Football, I recommend first acquainting yourself with the Notre Dame Fight Song. The campus is quite robust during the fall semester, but there are many quiet areas around campus to organize your thoughts. One of the places most students flock to before an exam is the Grotto. Regardless of the season, the Grotto is the ever-scenic spot on campus, embodying serenity and beauty. With the evergreens and ivy, as well as the golden dome rising in the distance, the Grotto is a great place to relax.

Here on campus, the ND Quest Scholars want to inspire leadership, service, scholarship, and personal growth. At the same time, we acknowledge that the acclimation to college life might be difficult and we try to give support to all who feel a bit overwhelmed by the college experience and need some extra motivation. I look forward to meeting everyone!
